LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies are one step closer to having their 2025 football season schedule nailed down after announcing a kickoff time and broadcast schedule for a matchup against the McNeese State Cowboys.

The first-ever matchup between the two programs will kick off on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium at 6 p.m. MT on Saturday, September 20.

The Saturday, October 25, matchup against New Mexico is USU’s only remaining game without a set kickoff time.

That game and the road matchup against Hawai’i are not currently scheduled for a television broadcast.

Where will Utah State vs. McNeese State be broadcast on TV?

The matchup will be broadcast nationwide on the Mountain West Network and locally on KMYU.

Where will Utah State vs. McNeese State be broadcast/streamed on radio?

About the McNeese State Cowboys

Head coach Matt Viator has led the Cowboys for the past 11 seasons as the Lake Charles, Louisiana, program navigates the new college football landscape. The Cowboys are a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) program.

McNeese State has earned seven Southland Conference championships since 2001, with its most recent coming in 2015.

They have not won a bowl game since a 1976 Independence Bowl win over Tulsa. The Cowboys last played in a bowl game in 1980, falling to Southern Miss in the Independence Bowl.

A 7-5 finish in 2019 is the last time McNeese State ended the season with a winning record.
