LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football looks to get back in the win column when it hosts Air Force in the league opener for both programs.
USU begins its final Mountain West Conference football slate when it hosts the Air Force Falcons on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium on Saturday, September 13.

The Falcons will have had two weeks to prepare for Utah State after an unusual week two bye. Air Force opened the season with a 49-13 home win over the Bucknell Bison.
Utah State is 7-5 all-time in Mountain West openers, and 3-2 at home. Bronco Mendenhall is 42-13 against MW opponents during seven seasons at BYU (2005-10) and 2024 at New Mexico. He is fifth all-time in wins and sixth in win percentage since the league began in 1999.
Saturday’s game will be the seventh time in 13 seasons that USU begins conference play against the Falcons. They are 4-2 in those games and 2-1 at Maverik Stadium.

The Aggies are asking fans in attendance to ‘Stripe the Stadium’. Fans in even-numbered sections are requested to wear white. Fans in odd-numbered sections are asked to wear blue.
