SALT LAKE CITY—Utah basketball will return home this weekend to host the No. 17 Kansas Jayhawks inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
The Utes are coming off an 85-75 loss to the Cincinnati Bearcats. With four minutes remaining, they had it tied 72-72, but Utah went cold in the final moments.
Gabe Madsen led Utah with 28 points but was inefficient, shooting 8 of 22 from the field. Craig Smith will be tasked with maximizing his scoring and raising the production everywhere else.
Meanwhile, the Jayhawks come into this one off a 71-59 win over Colorado, hoping to rebuild momentum.
