SALT LAKE CITY – The final week of the UHSAA football regular season is here as teams across the state are jockeying for playoff positioning.

The Corner Canyon Chargers and Davis Darts both clinched region championships with Friday night victories.

Week 10 Recap For 6A Utah High School Football

Region 1

No. 25 Farmington Phoenix @ Layton Lancers (Weds.)

Farmington ended its regular season with a 26-10 road win at Layton. All three Phoenix touchdowns came on the ground, including two long runs from Drew Love. Love scored from 45 yards out early in the second half and added a 25-yard TD in the fourth to wrap up the scoring.

JP Garlick scored Layton’s only TD on a 60-yard run.

No. 24 Weber Warriors @ No. 2 Davis Darts (Weds.)

The Darts jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead before holding Weber off down the stretch for its ninth win of the season. Jaxton Itaaheau scored three first-half touchdowns for the Darts. Davis QB Tradon Bessinger threw two TD passes to Bode Sparrow.

Region 2

No. 9 Herriman Mustangs @ Cedar Valley Aviators (Thurs.)

The Mustangs grounded Cedar Valley, improving to 9-1 in the regular season with a 56-6 win. The Aviators fell behind 56-0 before Ayden Laws scored late in the final quarter.

Two first-quarter pick-sixes from Herriman’s Macrae Parker put the finishing touches on a 29-point opening 12 minutes. Filisi Filipe scored two of the Mustangs’ six rushing touchdowns.

Copper Hills Grizzlies @ Riverton Silverwolves (Fri.)

The Silverwolves closed the 2025 regular season with a convincing win over Copper Hills, scoring 35 unanswered second-quarter points in a 47-14 victory. Tonga Tafisi and Rocky Downs each scored twice, and Austin Morris tossed three touchdown passes in the first half.

No. 17 Westlake Thunder @ No. 5 Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Fri.)

The top 20 matchup lived up to its billing with Westlake eventually succumbing 35-28 to the Sentinels. Both teams traded touchdowns in the first half, going into the break tied at 21. The Thunder took their first lead in the third quarter when Kyle Pierce caught a touchdown pass from Bosten Fountaine.

Mountain Ridge evened the score heading into the final period on a 32-yard touchdown from Jaxon Hunt to Kohen Cunningham. Zach Ofisa pounded his way into the end zone with 2:13 left to give Mountain Ridge the win.

Region 3

No. 1 Corner Canyon Chargers @ No. 6 Lehi Pioneers (Weds.)

The Chargers jumped all over their Region 3 rival, scoring 49 straight points after a first-quarter Lehi field goal. Corner Canyon QB Helaman Casuga threw four touchdown passes, including two to WR Kai Meza.

Corner Canyon won 56-3.
