Northern Utah High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 1 – Bradey Schiffman & Boston Greenhalgh

SALT LAKE CITY – The John Watson Northern Utah High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Northern Utah. Presented by John Watson Chevrolet in Ogden, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the gridiron. Our winners for week one of the season were Bradey Schiffman from Weber High School and Boston Greenhalgh from Roy High School.

Northern Utah Players of the Week – Bradey Schiffman & Boston Greenhalgh

Bradey Schiffman and the Weber Warriors with three wins as she tallied 14 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in a 58-35 win over Cyprus. She followed that up with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal in a 60-43 road win at Box Elder. Finally, she added 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 57-32 win at Roy.

Boston Greenhalgh and the Roy Royals opened the season with a 2-2 record as he tallied 16 points, one rebound, one assist and one steal in a 64-52 season-opening loss at Maple Mountain. He then added 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a narrow 66-64 loss to Emery.

The Royals then beat Cedar City 54-42 as Geenhalgh notched nine points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Finally, he racked up 26 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal in a 65-57 victory over Weber.
