Salt Lake County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 11 – Naveah Crosby & Samiu Taukiuvea

SALT LAKE CITY – The Hercules Salt Lake County High School Player of the Week is celebrating the best high school basketball players in Salt Lake County. Presented by Hercules First Federal Credit Union, each week we honor athletes for their exceptional performance on the hardwood. Our winners this week were Naveah Crosby from West Jordan High School & Samiu Taukiuvea from West High School.

Salt Lake County Players of the Week – Naveah Crosby & Samiu Taukiuvea

Naveah Crosby was the engine behind a pair of victories for the West Jordan Jaguars. She tallied 17 points, four rebounds, two steals and one assist in a win at Hunter. She then had a near-triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, eight steals and three assists in a victory over Kearns to close out the regular season.

Taukiuvea was a machine on the low block for the West Panthers in their two wins last week. He opened the week with 16 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in a win over Granger. He then tallied a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds to go with one assist and one block in a win over Taylorsville.
