Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 11 – Presley Whiting & Simeon Suguturaga

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boy’s and girl’s basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their performances on the court and exceptional play. Our winners for week one were Presley Whiting from Cedar Valley High School and Simeon Suguturaga from Orem High School.

Utah County Players of the Week – Presley Whiting & Simeon Suguturaga

Presley Whiting was the force behind the Cedar Valley Aviators winning both of their games to close out the regular season last week. She scored 17 points in a 57-45 win at Bingham. She then followed it up with 14 points as they defeated Mountain Ridge 52-45.

Simeon Suguturaga powered the Orem Tigers to a pair of victories last week. He scored 20 points in a 62-43 rout of Maple Mountain. He followed that up with 21 points in a 63-48 victory over Wasatch.
