Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 4 – Jalise Chatman & Makai Allen

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boy’s and girl’s basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their performances on the court and exceptional play. Our winners for week one were Jalise Chatman from American Fork High School and Makai Allen from Provo High School.

Utah County Players of the Week – Jalise Chatman & Makai Allen

Jalise Chatman powered the American Fork Cavewomen to a pair of wins as their strong start to the season continued. She led the team with 27 points as they beat Provo High School 55-46. She followed that performance up with a 26-point outing as they dispatched Farmington High School 61-44

Makai Allen and the Provo Bulldogs enjoyed a strong week with a trio of wins. Allen opened the week with 23 points, five rebounds and five steals in a 66-44 win at Grantsville. He then led them in a 77-69 win over Morgan at the I4 Media Shakespear Classic at Snow College with 38 points and followed that up with 20 points, eight assists and five rebounds in a 67-63 victory over Richfield.
