Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 6 – Lillian Nolan & Jaxen McCuistion

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boy’s and girl’s basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their performances on the court and exceptional play. Our winners for week one were Lillian Nolan from Karl G. Maeser Preperatory Academy and Jaxen McCuistion from Timpanogos High School.
Utah County Players of the Week – Lillian Nolan & Jaxen McCuistion
Lillian Nolan and the Lions enjoyed a strong week with back-to-back wins. In a 70-27 rout of Rowland Hall, she was a two-way force, scoring 28 points and swiping 13 steals to go along with six rebounds, five assists and one block. She followed that up with 19 points, 15 steals, seven rebounds and four assists in their 48-17 road win at Utah Military Academy Hillfield.
Jaxen McCuistion and the Timpanogoa Timberwolves enjoyed a strong week with a pair of victories. In a an 80-70 win over crosstown rival Mountain View, he paced the team with 20 points. He then followed it up with 25 points as the Timberwolves beat Uintah 65-50.
