Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 11

SALT LAKE CITY—The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boys’ and girls’ basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their on-court performances and exceptional play. Our winners for week 11 were Orem’s Jax Allen and Westlake’s Avery Thompson.

Utah County Players of the Week – Week 11

Thompson helped lead the Thunder to two wins with 15 points and nine rebounds in the first and 13 points in the second.

Allen scored 25 points in a blowout to start the week and followed that with 21 points in another blowout over Springville.

Player of the Week Selection

The selection committee for the Mr. Mac Utah County Basketball Players of the Week consists of Jeremiah Jensen and Sam Farnsworth from KSL Sports Live, Dane Stewart from KSL Sports Rewind, and Jake Hatch.
