Utah County High School Basketball Players of the Week – Week 4

SALT LAKE CITY—The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep boys’ and girls’ basketball players in Utah County. Sponsored by Mr. Mac, it honors athletes for their on-court performances and exceptional play. Our winners for week four were Timpview’s Dean Reuckert and Westlake’s Janiece Sikander
Utah County Players of the Week
Reuckert averaged 25.6 points in three Thunderbird wins. In a Las Vegas holiday tournament, Timpview beat St. Joseph’s Prep out of Philadelphia, Bishop Gorman, and Riviera Prep from Florida.
Sikander’s 15 points led the Thunder to a rivalry win over Cedar Valley. She then added 16 points in a victory against Mountain Ridge.
Player of the Week Selection
The selection committee for the Mr. Mac Utah County Basketball Players of the Week consists of Jeremiah Jensen and Sam Farnsworth from KSL Sports Live, Dane Stewart from KSL Sports Rewind, and Jake Hatch.
