SALT LAKE CITY — Another three-game appetizer introduced Week 5 of the 2026 Utah high school football season Thursday night.
But whether Thursday or Friday, West High kept rolling.
The Panthers cruised to 5-0 with a road rout in the Salt Lake Valley, one of three games to whet your appetite for Friday night.
Here’s what you may have missed.
Michigan quarterback commit Kamden Lopati threw four touchdown passes as the Panthers jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back to stay unbeaten.
Mani Tu’uao hauled in two touchdown passes for West, and added one of three rushing touchdowns to overwhelm the Bengals (1-4).
Griffin Matsumori threw touchdown passes to Cole Christensen and Rodrigo Queiroz to lead Brighton.

Graeson Warren threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Cowboys by the Wasps to improve to 4-1.
Price Armstrong found Brady Gempeler for an 18-yard touchdown to pull Juab (3-2) within 14-7 with 2:32 left in the second quarter.
But Grantsville used a 28-0 second-half sprint that included a pair of pick-sixes by Robert Rounds and a 90-yard kick-return touchdown by Dawson Dunlevy to pull away for good.
Kadyn Reyes kept the Royals undefeated with a pair of touchdown passes, including a 36-yard strike to Cammon Bushnell with 8 seconds left in the third quarter.
Gunner Pearson found Tyler Dickson with his second touchdown from 12 yards out with 5:32 remaining to pull the Royals (1-4) within the final margin with 5:32 remaining. But the 2-point conversion pass failed, and Roy didn’t threaten again.
