SALT LAKE CITY – The 2022 Indianapolis 500 Indy Car race is one of the sport’s biggest events and takes place annually during Memorial Day weekend.
This year’s Indy 500 is the 106th edition and will take place on Sunday, May 29.
The 200-lap race first began in 1911.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway track is 2.5 miles long.
