SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes and current Indianapolis Colts safety Julian Blackmon melted the hearts of thousands of people on the internet with a social media post of him singing a lullaby to his newborn daughter.

Blackmon announced the birth of his daughter, Zella, on April 7.
A few days later, a video of Blackmon singing Phil Collins’ song “You’ll Be In My Heart” from the movie Tarzan was posted to the TikTok account of Blackmon and his partner.
The lullaby video has gone viral online since it was posted.

About Julian Blackmon
He was first selected out of Utah by the Colts during the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
After suffering a season-ending injury in his final college game, the Colts planned to slowly bring Blackmon back from the injury. Due to other injuries in Indianapolis’ secondary, the former Ute was thrust into action early in the season and quickly became a standout player. He finished the year as a starter for the Colts and a key piece to the team’s young core.

During his first season, Blackmon helped Indianapolis to an 11-5 record and a postseason berth.
Blackmon finished the year with 42 total tackles, 35 solo tackles, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and six pass breakups in 15 games.
