SALT LAKE CITY — The top promotion for mixed martial arts (MMA) is returning to Utah for the fourth time in five years.

Salt Lake City will host UFC 332, marking the promotion’s fourth trip to the Beehive State since 2022, the organization announced Saturday during the UFC Vegas 120 card in Las Vegas.

Tickets will go on sale Aug. 21.

No fights have been announced for the card scheduled for Oct. 3 at the Delta Center in the organization’s fifth overall visit to the Utah capitol. But Layton native Court McGee revealed Monday on his Instagram that he has signed a contract for the 41-year-old’s final fight with the organization in his home state.

McGee, the 16-year UFC veteran of 28 fights, catapulted to fame by winning season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The 5-foot-11 wrestling coach who fights out of Orem has lost four of his last five matches to drop to 23-14 all-time.

He won his first match by submission in nearly 15 years with a victory over Tim Means at UFC 307 in 2024.

“(I’m) 41 years old, I’ve been competing in the UFC since 2010 with the four fights in The Ultimate Fighter house, Season 11, this will make it my 29th UFC fight,” said McGee, who last faced Michael Chiesa at June’s UFC Atlanta in an loss by unanimous decision. “A little nostalgic, and it will be here in Salt Lake City. So, that’s exciting and preparations are underway for what will be my retirement fight.”

UFC 332 the latest fight to come to Utah

Utah hosted the MMA organization for the first time Aug. 6, 2016 for UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez vs. Caceres, a non-pay-per-view card of the organization that was headlined by a pair of then-up-and-coming fighters in Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres.

The card, which also featured Layton native McGee’s unanimous decision win over Dominique Steele, stumbled to a $481,033 total-gate payout with just 6,689 fans in attendance for the cable-television event.

Six years later — and with the backing of a pay-per-view card — the atmosphere was completely different.

Leon “Rocky” Edwards and Usman Kamaru Usman headlined a dynamic UFC 278 card in front of a sold-out arena of 18,321 fans at the Delta Center, eclipsing a total-gate record of $4,297,655.

The “head kick heard ’round the world,” where Edwards stopped top-ranked Usman’s 16-match winning streak with a fifth-round knockout with 56 seconds remaining started a trend bringing back the organization to the Wasatch Front on a multi-year agreement with Smith Entertainment Group.

Justin Gaethje’s knockout win over Dustin Poirier drew a venue-record gate of $6.56 million to UFC 291 a year later, and Alex Pereira went for his third title defense at light heavyweight at UFC 307 in 2024.

UFC 332 was initially announced as part of a three-peat of events announced by UFC parent company TKO back in August 2025 that began with WWE hosting Friday Night Smackdown and Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Delta Center last November.

No fights have been announced for the card, but several reports have linked former light heavyweight Johnny Walker with his heavyweight debut on the card. Brazilian reporter Laerte Viana reported that Walker will face British heavyweight Mick Parkin in the booking.

Roman Kopylov and Ateba Gautien have also been linked with Utah in a middleweight bout, and flyweights Imanol Rodriguez and Alden Coria are also among the reported possibilities that UFC has not confirmed.

How to watch UFC 332

UFC events are no longer fought behind a pay-per-view plan under the terms of a recent deal with CBS to stream every numbered card on Paramount+. That led UFC president Dana white to proclaim Jan. 1, 2026 as the end of the promotion’s pay-per-view era under the reported $7.7 billion agreement.
