Utah Warriors Come Up Short At Home Against Seattle Seawolves

HERRIMAN, Utah – The Utah Warriors trailed early before taking the lead late in the first half but fell to the Seattle Seawolves 20-14 at home on Saturday night.
After trailing 13-0 early, the Utah Warriors bounced back with 14 unanswered before the Seattle Seawolves pulled ahead and came away with the win.
Seattle had the first opportunity to score on a penalty kick in the 13th minute but missed wide left. The Seawolves converted on their second penalty kick attempt in the 28th minute to take a 3-0 lead.
Seattle extended their lead in the 33rd minute with another penalty kick to go up 6-0. The Seawolves scored the first try of the game in the 38th minute. After the successful conversion kick, Seattle’s lead was 13-0.

Just before the half, Utah got a seven-point try in the final seconds. Seattle took a 13-7 lead into the locker room.
Two minutes into the second half, Utah scored a try and nailed the conversion kick. The Warriors took their first lead of the game of 14-13. In the 63rd minute, the Seawolves took the lead back with a try and conversion and was up 20-14.
Utah was close to getting into the try zone but ultimately came up short.
The Warriors dropped their record to 2-8 on the season. They will be on the road to face the New England Free Jacks on Saturday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. MT on sports.ksl.com, the KSL Sports app and the KSL TV app.
