Real Salt Lake is facing a $100 million lawsuit from former academy player Jeffrey Dewsnup, who was the youngest player to ever play for RSL at just 16 years old in 2021, when he alleges he suffered physical, sexual, and emotional abuse at the hands of adult teammates. Dewsnup claims the abuse was so severe that it forced him to quit his professional soccer career and caused lasting psychological harm, including a suicide attempt.
