Utah QB Cam Rising Provides Update After Leaving Rose Bowl Game With Injury

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Utes quarterback Cam Rising shared an update on his health after he left the Rose Bowl Game on New Year’s Day with an injury.

The No. 11 Utes played the No. 6 Buckeyes at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California on Saturday, January 1.
Rising exited the game after suffering an injury with 9:56 left in the fourth quarter.
Ohio State went on to beat Utah, 48-45.
Cam Rising provides an update on his health
On Monday, January 3, Rising posted an update on Twitter.
“Ute fans, I want to say thank you all for your concern, and let you know I am doing well and am at home with family. I am so proud of this team and I can’t wait for what the future holds. Shout out Oblock! Go Utes!” Rising tweeted.

Cam Rising in Rose Bowl Game
Prior to leaving the game, Rising was sacked by Ohio State’s Kourt Williams II. Rising’s helmet bounced on the turf as he was tackled.
The Ventura, California native remained on the ground for a few minutes as medical personnel attended to the quarterback.
Rising was able to walk to the sideline under his own power. He went into the medical tent for more evaluation.
