Utah Women’s Basketball Cracks AP Top 25 Poll For First Time In 11 Years

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah is ranked No. 21 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll after their win over Colorado on Friday night.
It is the first time in the Lynne Roberts era that the Utes have been ranked. The last time Utah was ranked in the poll was during the 2007-08 season when the Utes finished the season with a 27-5 record and 16-0 in the Mountain West Conference.
The highest ranking that the Utes have received in school history was No. 11 in 1998.

This season, Utah is 16-1 overall and 5-1 in Pac-12 play, their only loss came against a top-25 ranked Arizona State at the buzzer at home.
The Utes are one of just nine teams in the country and three in the Pac-12 with one loss, tying for fifth nationally in win-lost percentage at .944. Utah ranks in the top-25 nationally in six statistical categories that includes 16th in assist turnover ratio, No. 19 in assists per game, 9th in field goal percentage, No. 25 in rebound margin, 16th in scoring margin and No. 15 in three-point percentage.
Utah will host California on Friday at 7 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network and No. 6 Stanford on Sunday at 12 p.m. on the Utah Live Stream.
