SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz forward Kyle Korver committed a hilarious violation in the Jazz’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
After Blazers star and former Weber State great Damian Lillard air-balled a 3-pointer, Korver picked the ball up while it was still going out, stepped out of bounds and attempted a quick inbounds pass to teammate Jae Crowder.

Of course, with Korver having touched the live ball while having a foot out of bounds, it was ruled Portland’s ball.
Once Korver and Crowder realized what happened, both Jazzmen burst out laughing.
“Where it dropped, I was just trying to box somebody out, and with the ball right there I figured it went in,” said Korver.
For the game, Korver finished with nine points on 2-for-4 shooting in nine minutes of play.
The Jazz’s six-game winning streak came to an end in a 109-104 loss to the Blazers.
