Rams RB Todd Gurley Sports Mitchell Jersey At Press Conference

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – When speaking to the media at a press conference, Los Angeles star running back Todd Gurley was wearing a Donovan Mitchell jersey.
He started the press conference with a media asking him about the jersey.
“Yeah, I just opened it,” Gurley said. “I have to support my boy.”
A member of the local media didn’t know who’s jersey it was.
“Donovan Mitchell, Spida,” Gurley stated.

Gurley mentioned that he did not get the jersey as a gift from Mitchell and that he bought it off of the Nike website because he just wanted to support Mitchell.
“I wouldn’t ask him (Mitchell) to send me one when I can just get one myself,” he added.
He also said that he is going to wear that jersey and get another one for Mitchell to sign. Gurley chose the “Statement” uniform, which is the gold jersey with the Jazz note across the front.
Mitchell was excited to see Gurley wearing his jersey.

When asked how far back Mitchell and Gurley’s friendship goes, the star running back said it wasn’t long ago.
“Recent friends,” Gurley said. “Good dude though, I like his game. I just thought I would support him and wear the jersey.”
