Cougars Make First Field Goal Of 50+ Yards In Nearly 13 Years

PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars made their first field goal of 50 yards or more in nearly 13 years against the Washington Huskies.
The last time BYU made a FG of 50+ yards was October 28, 2006.
Former BYU kicker, Jared McLaughlin drilled a 53-yard field goal in a game against Air Force 12 years and 10 months ago.

The kick against the Huskies came off the foot of Cougar kicker, Jake Oldroyd.
Oldroyd’s career-long make was his second FG of the game. He has made 10 field goals in 2019. He’s only missed one attempt this season.
