Mitchell Blocks LeBron, Leads To Dunk On Offensive End

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell started and ended a great sequence in the third quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers in their first road game of the season.
Lakers star LeBron James was driving to the basket when Mitchell ran behind him and blocked his shot, which deflected off of the backboard.
When the Jazz went on the fastbreak, Gobert saved the possession from becoming a turnover when he dished it to Mitchell, who dunked the ball with two hands.

The play put the Jazz down by two points, 43-41 in the third quarter. They would later tie the game at 43, but the Lakers went on a 9-0 run to stretch the lead to 52-43.
At the time of the play, Mitchell had a team-high 12 points and was the only Jazz player in double figures. The Jazz are looking for their second straight win to start the season.
James had 13 points and 6 assists. The Lakers entered the game with a 0-1 record after a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night.
