Aleva Hifo Turns On Jets, Scores BYU TD On 4th Down

PROVO, Utah – BYU receiver Aleva Hifo showed his speed on a touchdown run against the Liberty Flames where he turned on the jets and sprinted 41 yards down the sideline for six points.
Hifo converted a 4th & 2 into a BYU touchdown with 4:11 left in the third quarter on Saturday, November 9.
The Romney-Hifo 41-yard hookup put the Cougars up 24-10 over the Flames.

After the TD pass, Romney was 16/24 for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Hifo catch put him at 4 receptions for 62 yards and the score.
BYU was outgaining Liberty 352 to 285 in total yards.
Before the touchdown, the Cougars were 122nd in the FBS on fourth down conversion this season. The touchdown moved BYU to 5/14 on fourth down conversions in 2019.
