Mike Conley Beats The Third Quarter Buzzer Against Suns

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Mike Conley gave the Utah Jazz some much needed momentum going into the fourth quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

As time was ticking down in the third quarter, Conley started going to his right at the top of the three-point line before changing direction to his left. As he got into the paint, he floated up a jumpshot and it fell as time expired. The Jazz took a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Conley had seven points by the end of regulation as Donovan Mitchell hit a three-pointer to tie the game and send it to overtime.

“Mountain Mike” is known for his floating jumpshot and his ability to change directions and use his left or right hand for jumpshots. At the end of regulation, Donovan Mitchell had 36 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 20 points, Rudy Gobert had a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.
The Jazz and Suns have the two best records in the NBA. Utah will head back to Salt Lake City to play five straight games at Vivint Arena. The first one will be against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, April 8 at 8 p.m. MT.
