SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz downed the Sacramento Kings for the third time in just 15 games 123-105 in Sacramento.

Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 26 points while the Jazz outrebounded the Kings 52-35 to pull away way in the fourth for the easy win.

The Jazz knocked down 17-39 threes to shoot better than 40 percent from downtown for the third consecutive game.

First Quarter

The Jazz offense has found its rhythm after a slow start to the season, despite having the top ranking in the NBA.

When the threes fall, everything looks easier and that was the case again in Sacramento after the Jazz knocked down at least 40 percent of their deep balls in each of their last two games.

Over the last few games, Mike Conley has been looking to get his teammates involved in the offense, but against the Kings, he was off to a hot start scoring 12 first quarter points.

After one, the Jazz led the Kings 29-28.

Second Quarter

The Kings played hard in the second quarter after a blowout loss last night in Sacramento that had fans calling for coach Luke Walton’s job.

Unfortunately for the Kings, they struggled to hit shots despite their hustle while the Jazz continued their hot shooting from the first quarter.

Outside of some poor transition defense, the Jazz have outplayed the Kings buoyed by 9-21 three-point shooting in the first.

At the break, the Jazz led the Kings 57-49.

Third Quarter

After a tough first half, Donovan Mitchell came out figuring in the third quarter helped the Jazz rebuild their lead to double-digits.

The guard had 11 points in the quarter to bring his total for the game to 18 after 36 minutes.

With the Kings frustrated by last night’s loss, they’re playing with extra physicality which led to a minor scrum, and ultimately a technical foul from Quin Snyder.

After three, the Jazz led the Kings 84-80.

Fourth Quarter

The game was delayed for roughly 15 minutes as a Kings fan vomited on the floor.

Players from both teams moved as far away from the mess as possible, and after getting it cleaned the game resumed.

The Jazz had already built their lead to double-digits before the incident and followed up the delay by extending the lead to 20 before coasting to an easy 123-105 victory.

Six players scored in double-figures for the Jazz improved their road record to 5-3 on the season.
