SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz will look to get back to their winning ways when they face travel to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder on Wednesday night.

The Jazz suffered a surprising loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at home on Monday after blowing a six point lead with 1:28 left to play.

The Thunder meanwhile have lost three straight and five of their last six as they return home from a three-game road trip.

NBA Admits Blow Calls In Jazz Loss

The Jazz committed plenty of mistakes down the stretch in their loss to the Grizzlies on Monday but weren’t helped by the league’s officials.

In Tuesday’s Last Two Minute Report the NBA acknowledged that there were two incorrect calls that favored the Grizzlies over the final minutes of the Jazz one point loss.

With 1:20 left in the game and the Jazz leading by six, the NBA deemed that Grizzlies star Ja Morant got away with a travel before earning two free throws to cut Memphis’ deficit to four.

Then, with less than a second remaining, the league said Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. fouled Gobert as he attempted a rebound on Donovan Mitchell’s missed game-winner.

The NBA did rule that league officials were correct to not call a goaltend on the most controversial whistle of the night that resulted in Jackson Jr. and Gobert jumping the ball at halfcourt rather than the Jazz being awarded possession.

Thunder Look To Snap Losing Streak

The Thunder will look to get back on track as they return home after going winless on a three-game road trip.

After winning four games in a row earlier this month, their best stretch of the season, the Thunder have lost five of their last six games, including Tuesday’s 113-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did not play after suffering an ankle injury earlier in the week and is considered day-to-day.

Oklahoma City has struggled on the offensive side of the ball during their recent skid having an offensive rating of just 99.1 over their last six games.

The team has failed to break the century mark in scoring in three of their last six games and has only scored more than 110 points once this season.

The Thunder will be looking to avenge their 107-86 season-opening loss to the Jazz on October 20.

Broadcast

The Jazz and Thunder will tip-off at 6 pm MT and can be heard on 97.5 and 1280 The Zone. The game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet and FuboTV.
