SALT LAKE CITY – Longtime college basketball announcer and personality Dick Vitale announced he is cancer free by ringing the bell following chemotherapy.

Vitale announced in the fall of 2021 that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma just months after multiple surgeries were required to remove melanoma.
