SALT LAKE CITY – A woman that attended the Minnesota Timberwolves Play-In Tournament game glued herself to the court in protest of the teams owner.

During one of the timeouts of the Timberwolves game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the woman went out to the floor and tried to glue her wrist/hand to the court. When arena security removed her from the floor, she was wearing a shirt that read “Glen Taylor Roasts Animals Alive.” Taylor is an owner of the Timberwolves.

TNT sideline reporter Allie LaForce relayed information on the incident. The woman came from California to protest at the Timberwolves game because Taylor owns an egg farm. He recently had to kill chickens because of the bird flu outbreak.

This video was released shortly after the woman was removed from the court. LaForce did not have full details at the time.

The handprint was still on the floor but it doesn’t seem like the glue dried in time before security removed the woman.

The Timberwolves came back to beat the Clippers 109-104 and secured the No. 7 seed in the NBA Playoffs. They will battle the Memphis Grizzlies in a best-of-seven series. LA still has a chance to make the playoffs as they will face the winner of the Play-In game between the New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio. The winner of that game will get the No. 8 seed and face the Phoenix Suns in the first round.
