BYU’s Hall Drops Dime, Roberts Snags First Career TD Reception

PROVO – BYU quarterback Jaren Hall threw a beautiful pass to Chase Roberts, who touched his toes to the end zone turf for his first career touchdown during BYU’s game against the Baylor Bears.
The No. 21 Cougars hosted the No. 9 Bears at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, September 10.
With two seconds remaining in the first half, Hall dropped a dime into the end zone and the hands of Roberts. The redshirt freshman wideout collected the ball while getting a foot down in bounds for the Cougars’ first touchdown of the game.

It was Roberts’ first career touchdown.
The Hall-Roberts connection gave BYU a 10-6 lead.

After the play, Hall was 12/19 passing for 143 yards and a touchdown. Roberts had four catches for 59 yards and a touchdown.
