Utah Jazz Comeback Falls Short In Loss To New Orleans Pelicans

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz made an impressive comeback but ultimately came up just short in a narrow loss to the New Orleans Pelicans at Delta Center on Sunday.
Three Pelicans players scored 24 or more points with former Jazzman Kelly Olynyk leading the way with 26. Keyonte George and Brice Sensabaugh led the way for Utah with 28 and 21 points respectively.
With the loss, the Jazz got swept in the season series against New Orleans. The Pelicans sat just above Utah in the standings and that gap was increased with the result.
Utah will close out its nine-game homestand against the Detroit Pistons on Monday, March 3.

Cody Williams is getting a lot more comfortable attacking the rim off the dribble from the three-point line.
He seems to trust that he can get into the paint with his first step now, whereas early in the year he’d hesitate or pull up for a tough mid-range jumper.
