Former BYU WR Parker Kingston Appears In Court For Rape Allegations

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Former BYU football wide receiver Parker Kingston had another appearance in court on Wednesday as he faces allegations and charges of rape.
It was Kingston’s first appearance in court since being dismissed from the BYU football team on February 13.
Discovery review hearing for Parker Kingston
The court appearance was a discovery review hearing attended by both parties. Kingston appeared virtually wearing a suit and tie. His attorney also appeared virtually.
Representation for the victim was also in the virtual courtroom.
No additional discovery was requested.
Kingston, who is currently out on bail with an ankle monitor, is accused of first-degree felony rape from alleged conduct that occurred involving an alleged victim on February 23, 2025.
Next dates in the Kingston case
Kingston is scheduled for a hearing on March 18, followed by a preliminary hearing on March 23.
It’s to be determined if the alleged victim is going to speak at the preliminary hearing.
Among the conditions set for Kingston’s bail are no contact with the alleged victim and no contact with any third party or potential witnesses. A GPS ankle monitor was also agreed upon on February 13 to ensure no appearances in Washington County, except for court appearances.
Also, no social media usage while the case is pending. Kingston doesn’t have to delete his profiles or content, but he’s not allowed to have social media apps on his phone, the judge stated.
Kingston was BYU football’s leading receiver with 924 yards on 66 receptions for a BYU team that finished 12-2 during the 2025 season.
