NFL Draft 2026: Here’s where Utah’s newest Locals in the NFL signed after draft

Spencer Fano isn’t the only rookie from the University of Utah headed to Cleveland.

He won’t even be the only one with his last name.

The Browns are signing Logan Fano, the former Timpview High and Utah edge rusher and older brother of the first-round NFL Draft pick, to an undrafted free-agent contract, as first reported by cleveland.com and others.

The older Fano spent the past three years at Utah after transferring from BYU, when he totaled 10.5 sacks for the Utes and was named a team captain — alongside his 6-foot-6, 302-pound younger brother.

The duo won’t be the only players with Utah ties joining the Dawg Pound for training camp and organized team activities, either. Cleveland also drafted former BYU tight end Carsen Ryan, who also played at Utah, UCLA and American Fork High, with a seventh-round pick (No. 248 overall).
