BYU football releases depth chart for road game at UCF
Oct 19, 2026, 3:28 PM
PROVO — The BYU football depth chart is out for the seventh game of the season, an upcoming cross-country trip to UCF.
BYU enters the game at 6-0 and is ranked No. 2 in the latest AP Top 25, the highest ranking for the program since 1984.
Here are some quick notes before diving into the seventh depth chart of the year for the second-ranked Cougars.
Bott Mulitalo is the clear-cut starter at right tackle
After an impressive performance in BYU’s win over Notre Dame, freshman Bott Mulitalo is now the clear No. 1 starter at right tackle on the depth chart. Since the injury to Andrew Gentry against Colorado State in September, Mulitalo has been a co-starter at right tackle along with Siosiua Latu-Finau.
Mulitalo was part of a BYU offensive line that didn’t give up a sack in the upset win over Notre Dame. He was also key in clearing the rushing lane for Bear Bachmeier to find the endzone on BYU’s opening offensive drive of the game.
BYU removes the -OR- at ROVER linebacker with Isaiah Glasker back at full strength
Isaiah Glasker returned to action after suffering an injury on October 3 against TCU. Glasker was excellent, recording six tackles and three pass breakups.
Entering last week’s top-10 matchup against Notre Dame, Glasker was a co-starter with Jake Clifton. Now, Glasker is back to full strength and one of the leaders of the defense again.
Small movement at wide receiver
BYU’s top wide receivers are Kyler Kasper, Legend Glasker, and Jojo Phillips. After that, it’s Reggie Frischknecht based on snaps, then there’s a big drop-off in terms of snaps played by receivers at the midway point of the year.
That’s why it was interesting to see a small change on the depth chart after the top four receivers. Freshman receiver Jaron Pula moved in front of Tei Nacua on the depth chart.
Up to this point of the season, Nacua was ahead of Pula, while both were behind Jojo Phillips on the depth chart.
Pula has appeared in two games this season (Utah Tech and Colorado State), while Nacua has appeared in three games.
