BYU football releases depth chart for Colorado State game

PROVO – The BYU football depth chart is out for the week three matchup against the Colorado State Rams.
Here are some quick notes before diving into the third depth chart of the year for the 11th-ranked Cougars.

BYU enters the game at 2-0 after a strong Big 12 opening victory over Arizona, 28-17.
Colorado State enters the nonconference matchup with a 2-0 record after victories over rival Wyoming and Southern Utah.
Siale Esera is not listed on the depth chart
BYU linebacker Siale Esera left the Arizona game early last Saturday. This week, he’s not listed on the depth chart. Head coach Kalani Sitake said that Esera is questionable this week against the Rams.

RB Sione Moa removed from the depth chart
BYU backup running back Sione Moa is currently out with an MCL/PCL injury. He’s expected to return at some point this season, but remains out for this week against Colorado State.
The depth chart after star running back LJ Martin includes Preston Rex as RB2, followed by true freshman Journee Tonga, then another freshman, DeVaughn Eka.
