SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The American Fork Cavemen dominated the Weber Warriors 45-14 on the KSL Game Night Live Game of the Week.

American Fork quarterback Maddux Madsen accounted for all six touchdowns for the Cavemen with five passing and one rushing TD.

In less than two minutes into the game, Maddux Madsen took the Cavemen down the field and the drive ended in a touchdown to give them a 7-0 lead. Weber punted on their first possession but the American Fork punt returner lost control of the ball and the Warriors recovered in the red zone.

Two plays later, the Warriors tight end fumbled the ball and the Cavemen recovered. Their drive ended with a touchdown pass from Madsen to Noah Moeaki. American Fork had a 14-0 lead with 4:48 left in the first quarter.

Weber had a kickoff return for a touchdown but it was called off due to a holding penalty. Things started looking ugly for Weber as American Fork got a deep touchdown pass to Trey Roberts to give the Cavemen a 21-0 lead with four seconds left in the opening quarter.

American Fork surprisingly attempted an onside kick and recovered it. On fourth and goal at the half-yard line, Maddux Madsen ran in the touchdown to put the lead to 28-0 with 8:18 to play in the second quarter.

With their spirits down, Weber answered with a long touchdown throw from Jake Lindsey to Cannon DeVries from 71 yards out. The Warriors pulled within 28-7 with 8:05 remaining until halftime.

American Fork got into the end zone once again and it was Trey Roberts for the second time. After getting the ball back again, the Cavemen went down and scored another touchdown as Noah Moeaki found the end zone. American Fork had a 42-7 lead with 2:18 left in the first half.

Coming out of the halftime break, American Fork nailed a field goal to take a 45-7 lead with 6:17 left in the third. When the Warriors got the ball back, Logan Payne ran in a one yard touchdown to cut the deficit to 45-14 with 3:09 left in the third. American Fork put in their backups and younger players late in the third quarter and the game coasted to the end.
