No. 5 Sky View Advances To Second Round With Blowout Win Over No. 12 Hurricane

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The fifth ranked Sky View Bobcats are heading to the second round of the playoffs with a 34-3 win over No. 12 Hurricane.
Garrett Zollinger threw one touchdown pass to Jackson Sundstrom, while Reed Wilde ran in two touchdowns for the Bobcats. Brevin Egbert added one rushing TD in the win.
Sky View will face No. 4 Dixie on Friday, October 29 at 6 p.m. MT.
Here are all of the results from the 4A classification in the first round of the state playoffs.
No. 9 Pine View 31 @ No. 8 Snow Canyon 22
Keith Adams led the Panthers with two rushing touchdowns in their first round win. Tyler Brown threw a TD pass to Marcus McKenzie. For Snow Canyon, Hunter Johnson threw for three touchdowns, finding Brooks Esplin twice and Jake Hill once.
Pine View will face No. 1 Desert Hills on Friday, October 29 at 6 p.m. MT.
No. 13 Bear River 20 @ No. 4 Dixie 48
Bronson Barben had the hot had on Friday night with six touchdown passes. He connected with Jakheo Mitchell four times, while finding Seth Takau and Jaxon Barben once each. Gavin Bulkley added a rushing TD.
Dixie will battle No. 5 Sky View on Friday, October 29 at 6 p.m. MT.
No. 10 Cedar City 24 @ No. 7 Logan 46
Kody Kirk threw five touchdown passes for the Grizzlies in the first round win. He found Gage Jenson four times and Andrew Thornley once. Ethan Bracken added a rushing score for Logan.
Logan will square off with No. 2 Ridgeline on Friday, October 29 at 6 p.m. MT.
No. 11 Mountain Crest 0 @ No. 6 Crimson Cliffs 27
Gunner Orr had two passing touchdowns, both to Ryan Woolley. Easton Droubay and Chase Hansen each ran in a touchdown for the Mustangs.
