SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two NBA postseasons in 1993 and 1994 for the Jazz was a highlight reel for David Benoit.

In six season with the Jazz from 1991-96 and 2000-01, Benoit averaged 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds while in a Utah uniform.

The SportsBeat team put together the 5 best dunks from Benoit in the postseason.

5. 1993: Benoit Dunks Over Two Sonics

In the first round of the 1993 NBA Playoffs, David Benoit threw down a nasty right-handed dunk over two Seattle Supersonics players in the Pacific Northwest. The Jazz were eliminated by the Sonics in five games despite holding a 2-1 series lead heading to Salt Lake City for Game 4.

4. 1994: Back-To-Back Putback Dunks Against Nuggets

Against the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 1994 NBA Playoffs, Benoit cleaned up two misses on back-to-back possessions and put some power into his dunks in Salt Lake City. The first one was off a miss from Tom Chambers in the lane. Benoit snatched the ball with his left hand and threw it down.

The other dunk came from a mid-range miss by John Stockton when Benoit elevated over a Nuggets defender and finished with two hands. The Jazz took down the Nuggets in seven games to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

3. 1994: Benoit Throws Down Thunderous Dunk Against Rockets

In the 1994 Western Conference Finals, Benoit stunned the Rockets crowd when he ran past Robert Horry to punish the rim with a right-handed slam. The Jazz fell to Houston in five games.

2. 1994: Stockton Sets Up Benoit For Punishing Dunk Against Nuggets

At the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, John Stockton delivered a pass to Benoit as he was driving to the basket on the baseline when he elevated over a Nuggets defender and put the ball through the hoop with two hands in the 1994 NBA Playoffs.

The Jazz took down the Nuggets in seven games to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

1. 1994 vs. San Antonio

In Game 4 of the 1994 Western Conference first round series, Benoit delivered the series-clinching dunk at the end to put the Spurs away. Karl Malone tipped the ball at halfcourt to Benoit who finished with an easy two-handed dunk to give the Jazz a 95-90 win over San Antonio and a 3-1 series win.

Benoit had 15 points off the bench.
