Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz Scores First TD Of Season Against Packers

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Bingham High and current Dallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz hauled in his first touchdown of the season during Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers hosted the Cowboys at Lambeau Field on Sunday, November 13.
With eight second remaining in the first half, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott connected with Schultz near the goal line before the tight end worked his way to the pylon and into the end zone for six points.
Schultz’s score helped the Cowboys tied the game at 14-14 before halftime.

The touchdown capped an eight-play, 66-yard drive that took 1:34. It resulted in Schultz’s first touchdown catch of the season.
Earlier in the season, the former Bingham standout had battled through injury and missed time with the Cowboys.
Schultz entered the Week 10 game with 20 receptions for 203 yards in six games played this season. The Cowboys arrived in Green Bay with a 6-2 record this season.

Following his high school career at Bingham, Schultz played for the Stanford Cardinal.
After his time at Stanford, the Cowboys selected Schultz during the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Schultz saw little playing time during his first two seasons in the league. In 2020, he caught the first touchdown of his NFL career and finished the year with four scores.
Last season, Schultz had a breakout year for Dallas. He helped the Cowboys reach the playoffs and ended the year with 78 catches for 808 yards and eight touchdowns.
Before facing the Packers, Schultz had accumulated 174 catches for 1,748 yards and 12 touchdowns during his five seasons in the league, all with the Cowboys.
