Eric Weddle Signs With Los Angeles Rams

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Rams have signed former Ute and current All-Pro Safety Eric Weddle.
Weddle was released from the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday after spending three years with the organization, helping the Ravens win the AFC North division this past season. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl for the sixth time in his career.
The former Ute will be closer to his home as his family has a house in San Diego, where Weddle played his first nine seasons of his career with the Chargers. He is from Fontana, California.
Los Angeles won the NFC and lost to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl this past season.
Reports say that Weddle will be signed to a two-year contract worth up to $12.5 million.

Weddle’s agent David Canter tweeted out the move.
