Jets QB Zach Wilson Scores Pair Of TDs On First Two Drives Against Eagles

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU and current New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson score a pair of early touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Jets hosted the Eagles on Sunday, December 5.
With 12:42 remaining in the opening quarter, Wilson threw a strike into the back of the end zone to Elijah Moore.
Wilson’s touchdown toss gave the Jets an early 6-0 lead. New York missed the PAT kick.

The throw capped a five-play, 21-yard drive that lasted 2:18.
After the score, Wilson was 3/3 for 18 yards and a touchdown.
The Eagles scored a touchdown on the next drive to take the lead.
On their following possession, Wilson and the Jets marched down the field before the former BYU signal-caller scored on a QB sneak.

Wilson’s run gave the Jets a 12-7 lead.
The second touchdown capped an 11-play, 68-yard drive that took 6:07 off the clock.
Following his second score, Wilson was 7/8 passing for 50 yards and one touchdown. He added two carries for one yard and a touchdown on the ground.
The former BYU star entered the game having thrown for 1,313 yards, four touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
New York’s game against Philadelphia is broadcast on CBS.
