Wagner, Weddle Represent Utah In Pro Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. – The state of Utah had two representatives in the NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Former Utah State and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner made his fifth appearance while former Utah defensive back and current Baltimore Ravens’ Eric Weddle played in his sixth Pro Bowl.
The AFC beat the NFC 26-7.
Wagner racked up three tackles during the game. He joined fellow teammates Russell Wilson and Michael Dickson in the NFL All-Star Game. Wagner was also named first team All-Pro for the fourth time after the regular season concluded.

The former Aggie played in 15 games during the regular season – his seventh in the NFL, piling up 138 total tackles with 84 solo take-downs. He also had 1 sack, 11 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception that was returned 98 yards for one touchdown.
Seattle was eliminated by the Dallas Cowboys 24-22 in the NFC Wild Card game, finishing the season with a 10-6 record.
Weddle played but did not record any stats as he was one of four players from the Ravens to make the Pro Bowl, joining C.J. Mosley, Marshall Yanda and Brandon Williams.

The former Ute played in all 17 games this season, his 12th in the NFL. He finished the regular season with 68 tackles, including 54 solo tackles, 1 sack and 3 pass deflections.

Baltimore was eliminated by the Los Angeles Chargers 23-17 in the AFC Wild Card round of the playoffs. The Ravens ended their season with a 10-6 record.
