Real Salt Lake Finalizes Roster For 2025 MLS Season

SALT LAKE CITY – The 2025 MLS season is officially underway.
On Thursday, Real Salt Lake confirmed the composition of its senior and supplemental roster, international roster spots, designated players, and U-22 initiative players.

RSL’s 2025 Season Preview
The 2024 season was filled with ups and downs for the claret and cobalt.
At their peak, the club sat atop the Western Conference with sights set on a second MLS Cup. But injuries, a suspension, and lingering questions about the future cast a shadow over their campaign.
All in all, they finished as the third seed in the West with a 16-7-11 record. The season came to an end at the hands of the Minnesota United FC. A first-round exit for the third year in a row.

Shifting focus from last season to now, some familiar faces remain, but several key players have moved on to new teams—most notably Chicho Arango, Andrés Gómez, Gavin Beavers, and Matt Crooks.
With a new chapter beginning, Real will look to young stars like Diego Luna and Emeka Eneli to take that next step and carry the load in 2025.
