SALT LAKE CITY – NBA legend and part-owner of the Utah Jazz, Dwyane Wade, will be taking his talents to the booth next season.

Prime Video announced that Wade, Candace Parker, Steve Nash, and Udonis Haslem will anchor coverage in the platform’s inaugural NBA season.

This announcement followed a previous one that unveiled Taylor Rooks, Blake Griffin, and Dirk Nowitzki as hosts and analysts on the network.

In a press release, Prime explained that Wade would “rotate between in-game and studio analyst duties.”

“I’m excited to join the NBA on Prime team as an analyst at this pivotal moment for Prime Video,” said Wade. “After 16 years on the court and time as a broadcaster, I can’t wait to continue to share my unique perspective and bring the energy of the game to fans streaming at home.”

Wade quoted the post from Prime, saying, “Go time.”

NBA Strikes Broadcast Deal With Amazon, ESPN

The NBA will reportedly have a new home on Amazon Prime Video for some of its biggest games beginning in the 2025-26 season.

According to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, the NBA and Amazon have agreed on a more than decade-long deal that will place several of the league’s broadcasts on the streaming giant.

“The NBA and Amazon Prime Video have a framework for an agreement that will make the streamer one of the homes for significant regular season and postseason games for a decade,” Marchand posted on social media.

ESPN will reportedly continue to carry regular-season games and the NBA Finals, while Amazon will own a package that includes the conference finals.

Dwyane Wade, Part Owner Of The Utah Jazz

In 2023, the Jazz announced that Wade was joining the organization’s ownership group.

Before joining the Jazz, Wade played in the NBA for 16 seasons, 14 as a member of the Heat. Wade retired from playing in 2019. The Heat retired his jersey in 2020.

The Chicago native was a 13-time NBA All-Star and a three-time NBA champion.
