Reports: Former Utah Jazz Players Involved In Three-Team NBA Trade

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Jazz players Jae Crowder and George Hill found themselves included in a three-team deal ahead of the NBA trade deadline, according to multiple reports.

On Thursday, both players were involved in a three-team trade involving the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Indiana Pacers.

Crowder’s stay in Brooklyn was a short one. 12 hours before getting dealt to the Bucks, the former Jazz forward was included in a massive deal in which the Phoenix Suns landed Kevin Durant from the Nets.
Shortly after Charania reported Crowder’s move to Milwaukee, fellow NBA insider, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, shared that Hill, a former Jazz and current Bucks guard, was being traded to the Pacers.

Charania added to the conversation on Twitter. He revealed that the transactions were part of a multi-team deal.

About Jae Crowder
Crowder, a product of Marquette, has played in the NBA since 2012. He was a second round pick over a decade ago. Crowder played for the Jazz from 2017-19. In 2019, the Jazz included Crowder in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies. That deal landed Mike Conley Jr. in Utah.
Hours before Crowder was sent from Phoenix to Brooklyn, the Jazz traded Conley to the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of another three-team trade.

During his NBA career, Crowder has played for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Jazz, Grizzlies, and Suns.
During his time with the Jazz, Crowder averaged 11.9 points 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 27.2 minutes per game. He played in 107 games for the Jazz.

About George Hill
Hill, a former IUPUI standout, has played in the NBA since 2008. The San Antonio Spurs selected Hill with the No. 26 overall pick during the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft.
This will be Hill’s second stint in Indiana. His first stint with the Pacers was from 2011-16. In 2016, the Pacers traded Hill to the Jazz. Hill only played one season for the Jazz, the 2016-17 campaign.

In 2017, Hill signed a free agent deal with the Sacramento Kings. During his NBA career, Hill has played for the Spurs, Pacers, Jazz, Kings, Cavaliers, Bucks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Philadelphia 76ers.
As a Jazzman, Hill averaged 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 31.5 minutes per contest in 49 games.
