Derrick Favors Passes John Stockton On Jazz Rebounding List

PORTLAND, Ore. – Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors passed John Stockton to No. 3 on the team’s all-time rebounding list in franchise history.
Favors entered the night against the Portland Trail Blazers, one rebound away from tying the Utah Jazz legend. He collected five rebounds in Utah’s 132-105 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and now sits in third place with 4,055.
The nine-year veteran is averaging 7.2 rebounds this season and for his entire career.
Favors is now trailing just Mark Eaton and Karl Malone on the rebounding list. He is 2,884 rebounds behind Eaton for second and is 10,546 boards behind Malone for the top spot in franchise history.
The 2013-14 season was a career year on the boards for Favors, averaging 8.7 rebounds per game. He then averaged 8.2 rebounds per game during the 2014-15 season and 8.1 in 2015-16 before dipping to 6.1 rebounds per game in 2016-17.
