Donovan Mitchell Drills Contested Buzzer-Beating Three-Pointer To End First Half

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell drilled a contested three-pointer at the buzzer to end the first half in Game 5 against the Grizzlies.
With less than 8 seconds left in the second quarter, Donovan Mitchell got the ball and hit a fadeaway to his right to complete the buzzer-beater to give the Jazz a 75-51 lead at the half.
Mitchell finished the first half with 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field and 5-for-7 from beyond the arc in 14 minutes played. He set a playoff career-high for most points in the first half.

The Jazz shot 58 percent (28-48) from the field and 46 percent (12-26) from the three-point line. Bojan Bogdanovic added 15 points and Rudy Gobert chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds in the first half.
For Memphis, Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks led the way with 14 points apiece. Jonas Valanciunas scored 12 points.
