Evan Bradds Joins Duke Staff
Bradds joins the Duke bench after spending the last three seasons in Utah under Jazz head coach Will Hardy.
Hardy brought Bradds to Utah as one of his first hires after replacing Quin Snyder in the summer of 2022.
Bradds and Hardy worked together in Boston under former Celtics head coach Ime Udoka.
“I am honored to be joining the Duke Basketball program and want to express my immense gratitude to Coach Scheyer for this opportunity,” Bradds said in the post from the University. “I am looking forward to working alongside Coach Scheyer and the Duke team to help continue the long-standing tradition that is Duke Basketball.”

In 2023, Bradds coached the Jazz’s summer league roster and helped oversee player development while in Utah.
Scheyer replaced legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski in 2022 and helped lead the Blue Devils to the NCAA Final Four in March.
“I’m excited to welcome Evan and his wife, MacKenzie, to Durham,” Scheyer said of Bradds. “Evan brings an unbelievable basketball mind, NBA player development experience, and a unique ability to build meaningful relationships with players – something that’s core to our culture.”
Bradds was a video analyst for the Celtics from 2018 to 2020 before being promoted to a player enhancement coach. Before joining the Celtic staff, he was an assistant with the Maine Red Claws.
As a player, Bradds averaged 14.9 points and 7.1 rebounds over four seasons with the Belmont Bruins. He was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year during his junior and senior seasons.
