Jazz G Trent Forrest Throws Down Easy Wide Open Dunk Vs. Spurs

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz rookie point guard Trent Forrest threw down an easy wide open dunk after beating defenders against the Spurs on Monday.

With 6 minutes left in the third quarter, Jazz guard Trent Forrest had the ball at the top of the three-point line when he beat his defender and found a wide open lane, finishing with a two-handed slam dunk.

That gave the Jazz a 76-54 lead over the Spurs at Vivint Arena.

Forrest was having another solid game. In the win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, he made some key plays on both ends of the floor in the fourth quarter. Forrest played great defense on Fred VanVleet in crunch time and also hit a big three-pointer.

The rookie went undrafted from Florida State and joined the Jazz this off-season.

The Jazz are still without Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley due to injury.

Utah is in the middle of a five-game homestand. They will have a rematch with the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, May 3 at 7 p.m. MDT on AT&T SportsNet.
