Jazz Look To Bounce Back From First Loss Of 2020 In Matchup With Kings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz aim to rebound from their first loss of the new decade when they host the Sacramento Kings.
The Jazz are fresh off of an overtime loss in “The Big Easy” against the New Orleans Pelicans. The loss snapped a 10 game winning streak by Utah the began before Christmas 2019.
Utah will try to begin a new winning streak when it hosts the Kings on Saturday, January 18.
It will be the third matchup between the two teams this season. Utah and Sacramento split the first meetings of the 2019-20 season with each roster winning a home game.
In the third game of the season, Utah took down Sacramento 113-81 on October 26, 2019, behind Bojan Bogdanovic’s 26 points.

On November 1, the Kings beat the Jazz 102-101 at the Golden 1 Center.
The Kings own a 15-26 overall record while going 7-13 on the road this season.
Sacramento comes to Salt Lake City having played a shaky last month of basketball. Since December 15, 2019, the Kings have lost 12 of their last 15 games including an eight-game skid to close the year. Sacramento has lost each of its last three games as well.

This season, the Sacramento is averaging 106.8 points a game, well below the Jazz’s average of 110.2 points.
Kings shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (no relation to Utah’s Bojan Bogdanovic) was listed at “OUT” on the injury report for Saturday’s contest.
Utah will likely play guard Mike Conley after he missed his 14th straight game and the 19th in the last 20 games in the Jazz’s loss to the Pelicans.

The Kings and Jazz are scheduled to tip-off on Saturday, January 18 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
